Once again, the Linden gods have farted in my general direction and will not let me post the events for this Thursday's Grand Opening at Midnight Lotus :-(

Anyway, dear readers, here is the announcement that was sent out via Group Notice earlier today via the good Madame Kuramoto herself:

SAVE THE DATE! Midnight Lotus celebrates the opening of its new sim all day Thursday, August 21!

We have dj's playing at our Tantra Lounge at 10am, 12pm, 4pm and 6pm, and a 7Seas fishing contest by the beach at 2pm.

Come down, bring friends! We will have prizes and surprises. If you haven't been to the new sim, you should visit as we now have a lot more area to play in!

Remember that Midnight Lotus is a clothing optional resort so feel free to leave your clothes and inhibitions at the door! Enjoy!

Here is the schedule of events:
10am-12pm SLT: "Best in Bellydance with DJ Terry Stilman!" Come listen to the sexy, ethereal mix of arabic dance and trance music. So put on your sexiest bellydance outfit, your favorite silks, or whatever, and come compete for the L$500 prize! This event will be held in the Tantra Lounge.

Lotus Evolution Foreskin is Available!

"When it's ready" is when I release something, and after a long time in development, the Lotus Evolution Foreskin is ready! It is exclusively for the Lotus Cock Evolution, Gold Edition.

This is not just some prim stuck on the end. It has 3 sculpts, and follows through the six erection states of the cock. Installation is easy, just rez the cock and the foreskin on the ground, and click to foreskin to start the linking process. It doesn't get much easier.

The Lotus Evolution Foreskin costs L$79, and is available at the main Midnight Lotus locations in Buffalo Run location, and Winterfell Requiem. The foreskin requires you update to Lotus Cock Evolution, Gold Edition, version 3.3, which is available from our automated update service. The foreskin will be available at other retail locations soon.

Celebrate the Nude, er *New*ness

Never one to rest on her laurels, Hasuko Kuramoto of Midnight Lotus has opened up yet another shopping palace. Yes, I use the term "palace" and not "mall" or "store", for, to use those terms would be a grave injustice for all the work, time and effort that Mme. Kuramoto has invested into this new project.

Ask anyone who knows me: I dabble in the art of acquisition quite a lot around the grid. Also I feel my fellow female shoppers would agree with me that seeing the same shopping design of mall over and over again, gets boring rather quickly.

There must be an extreme amount of pressure on the typical in-world content developer/store owner. Not only does he/she make a product to sell, they then have to create an attractive venue in which to display it. Because, quite frankly, they know that said venue must "pop", in order to separate their customer from their hard-earned lindens.

Nope, no ho-hum builds here. Hasuko Kuramoto does not fail to disappoint in giving her customer base an impressive shopping experience, from her Roman open-air market design at her Buffalo Run location, to her new, Eastern-flavored locale in Winterfell Requiem.

I wish I could bring you more photos than what's posted here, but I must turn that job over to a professional. Remember folks, just because you're a shutterbug who loves to photograph different things, doesn't necessarily mean you're any good at it.

Combining Byzantine and Gothic Western architecture, the outside of the build is indeed a feast for the eyes. Much like the shops in the Buffalo Run region, the vendor area in the new Winterfell location is a cornucopia of varied merchandise for all styles and tastes: "naughty bits" from Midnight Lotus, tats and skins from Negko Design, outfits and accessories from Vendetta, to name a few.

OH! And don't forget to visit the richly designed and furnished downstairs area as well, where inspiring murals and a well-designed Turkish bath greet you as you descend. Have a few puffs on the hookah, or take advantage of the poses that adorn the carpets on the marbled floors. ;-)

Update: Lotus Cock Evolution 3.2 (Gold)

The Lotus Cock Evolution Gold 3.2 update went out today, which includes the following:

• Works around the nasty rotation bug in SL (yes, it's documented, for those interested, on the Second Life issue tracking database). This means you can now adjust your bits with a slight rotation, and they won't get deformed!
• Fixed a bug that deformed the glans oil/tat layer at level 5 erection state. Only noticible if you are wearing Nyoko's SexOil for Men.
• Changed the update check to occur once per day instead of every time you rez or teleport.

Piercings are almost here! Also working on the foreskin add-on for those who prefer to be uncut.

Coming soon... another Evolution Gold update

Hey! I am working on another update. This update will be ready in the next few days. This one fixes the bug where if you rotate the attached cock it explodes, and I am adding support for attachments.

What attachments? There are two kinds of attachments. One that changes the appearance of the cock, and another kind that changes how the cock works.

• I am working on the first kind for now, and that will allow for add-ons such as piercings, foreskin, and prim pubic hair. These add-ons are not yet ready, but they are being worked on!
• The second kind of add on might be something that affects using the cock, such as a cock ring or some kind of restraint. Those are much more complicated and will be worked on later.

I know there will be a lot of updates, so you should expect them. Again make sure that you accept and not mute when the updater sends you something. Your requests actually affect the development of my products and I get great feedback from you all. Remember I am only one person so it takes some time for me to do it all.

Updated: Lotus Cock Evolution Gold 3.1

As promised I released an update to the Gold Edition to fix a few important things, and I made some changes I hope everyone likes. To receive the update, simply rez the Lotus Cock Evolution, Gold Edition, and the update system will send you version 3.1. Make a note of your preference settings to make it easier to recustomize you new version.

• There were issues with the cock reappearing after to set it was set to hidden, usually after reattaching or relogging. Fixed.
• Similar issue, but with the tattoo going back to 100% opacity. Fixed.
• "Coming" preferences, for a little variety.
  
• I added 3 new size choices, due to numerous requests. These new 3 are bigger than a normal avie needs, but they are there anyway.
• I added 2 more ball sizes for good measure (1 smaller, 1 larger).
• I redid the menus to be (hopefully) easier to use. I would love feedback on this so I can adjust it if needed in an update.
• I also redid a lot of the scripts to reduce lag. This has a side effect noted as follows.
• You now have to "Load Tattoos" from the Customize menu after you install them. They do not load into the menus automatically (lag issues).

I am still working on more things to improve on and add, and love your feedback. Be sure to send me a notecard with any suggestions you might have. Things I am already planning on are a foreskin add-on, piercings, more tattoos, improved interaction, and custom skins. Keep watching this blog!

Updates are in the works

The response I have gotten on the Lotus Cock Evolution Gold has been overwhelmingly positive, but of course there are the little things that need fixing =)

I am working on an update that will do the following:

• Fix the issue where an invisible cock becomes visible again after relogging or reattaching
• Fix an issue where tattoo opacity resets after relogging or reattaching
• Add options for heavier cum particle flow
• Add a few more sizes for the really size-conscious (when "massive" isn't big enough)
  
• And maybe a few more surprises if i can fit them in

Some people hate receiving updates and complain about it. This is a product that will constantly evolve (why do you think I named it "Evolution"?). I made it so I can improve on it quickly and add features, mostly based on customer input. If you are one of those people that hates update notifications, you can delete or disable the "zz_updater" script inside the cock. Just remember to keep a backup copy that has the updater.

It's official! Announcing the release of the Lotus Cock Evolution, Gold Edition!

After many months of development it's finally on sale! You can buy the Lotus Cock Evolution, Gold Edition at the newly rebuilt Midnight Lotus main location and other locations all around SL. It is also on SL Exchange.

It costs 579L, still cheaper than other products in its class. Upgrades are available for owners of previous versions (details available at our main location).

The new features focus a lot on customization, and the new color system lets you match the Gold Edition to just about any skin. There are many size options, including a separate adjustment for the balls.

Tattoos! (And Sexoil!) There are currently 30 tattoos (using our exclusive Lotus Ink system) available for the Gold Edition, designed by iNFLiCT, Ink & Kinks, and Negko Design, and they are amazing! There are a few free ones on the wall, but you have to look to see which they are. We also have Nyoko's Sexoil for Men, a custom oil overlay that matches her Bodyoil for Men, but looks great even on it's own. All overlays and tattoos are adjustable for an effect from faintest to strongest/darkest. All of our tattoos are available at our main location, with a small selection available at select outlets.

A few quick fixes to Lotus Cock Evolution Silver... now it's version 2.11. Sorry for the extra update.

This also means that the upgrade vendors will check for version 2.11 of the Deluxe/Silver editions.

Notes on upgrades

I talk about updates and upgrades, so if you need, here is how I define them.

• An *update* is a minor change in the current product. Example, 1.0 to 1.1 or 2.9 to 2.10.
  
• An *upgrade* is a chance to step up to a more expensive version of the product. Example, 1.1 to 3.0 or 2.10 to 3.0.
  

The upgrades cost the difference in price from the older versions to the Gold Edition.

To upgrade from the Lotus Cock Deluxe or Lotus Cock Evolution Silver, you will need the 2.10 upgrade that will be available from the updater. When you rez or wear your cock, the updater will check in with the server and send you the 2.10 update. You *must* accept this update and unpack it to be able to use the upgraders! If you decline the inventory offer you must either wait 24 hours to try again or contact me in world to try to resend. If you deleted the update scripts from your cock already, you must use another copy (wear another size) to get the update. This update will be on its way before March 1st.

Original Lotus Cocks (1.0 and 1.1) don't need any further updates to use the upgrade vendors.

There will be upgrade stations at the main Midnight Lotus store in Buffalo Run. To use them, you rez your old cock on the table in front of the upgrade vendor (or just wear it), then click the vendor. If the vendor verifies a valid cock, you will be able to purchase the Gold Edition at the upgrade price listed on the vendor. Only you can buy the item at that time (your name will be listed on the vendor) and anyone else trying to buy will not be able to until you are done. When you are done, please take your old cock with you from the table. =)

The Gold Edition will be available on March 1st and so will 30 tattoos and an oil overlay. I am sending an update to the Silver Edition so it will work with the upgrade vendors.

• The price will be 579L.
  
• Silver Edition (and Deluxe) owners can upgrade for 200L, once updated to version 2.10.
• The owners of the original 1.0 can upgrade for 400 and do not need to update to use the upgrade vendors.
• Tattoos and overlays will only work with the Gold Edition.

More FAQ's about the Gold edition cock

There are a few questions I have been answering lately about the new version cock, so here is some info:

• The Gold edition is almost finished, just doing bug fixes now
• The Silver will see a 2.10 update which allows previous owners to use the upgrade vendors to purchase the Gold at a discount.
• Deluxe owners can update to Silver 2.10 through the auto update feature.
• Original Lotus Cock (1.1) owners will be able to upgrade to Gold as well. Version 1.0 owners need to update to 1.1 (contact me in world).
• There will be add-ons available for purchase at product launch. These include tattoos and a body oil, all by known designers.
• The Gold will not include a foreskin (uncut) option in the package. A foreskin option is being developed can be added onto the Gold once it is complete. The foreskin will be sculpted and scripted, and not some afterthought stock prim.
• Piercings and jewelry are being researched. These too will be add-ons that can be purchased in the future.

About features:

• Cock will be resizable to 9 scripted sizes
• There are 9 base textures but you will need to edit the cock to set the final tint. Untinted cocks usually will not match with just the base textures.
• The shape is adjusted from Silver 2.9.
  
• Ball size can be made smaller for anyone who thinks they are too big.
• You can add tattoos and overlays by dropping them into the inventory. Only official "Lotus Ink" certified products will work with the system.
  
• Tattoos are supplied in their darkest shade. Use the tattoo menus to lighten the shade down to 20%.
  
• You can edit the tint of the cock prims separately, even make them shiny if you want. This way you can get the look you want. Changes to shape, size, or placement of the prims will be undone as you use the cock.
• When you pee you can turn on or off the animation of "holding it". Peeing is available in the two most flaccid states only.
  
• Ejaculation/coming is more realistic, showing spurts instead of one long stream of cum. Coming is available from the 3rd state up to the hardest.

Where's the Gold?

I know everyone is waiting for the new addition to the lineup, the Lotus Cock Evolution, Gold Edition, since I get a lot of IMs asking me when it's 'coming' (hehe). Here's the update:

The Gold Edition represents a major rescripting effort along with a lot of new features. I will have put 100-200 hours (I'm not counting) of work into it when it's finished. I get a lot of feedback from the people I show it to, and I make changes (usually more features) based on what they say.

Instead of rushing it to market, I prefer to make this product better, and it's going to be ready soon. Of course I will update it, after it goes on sale, with all the little things to make it even better.

What's going into it that takes so long? Here is a list of things that are different from the Silver Edition:

• Scripted sizes: one attachment, changeable to any of 9 sizes to fit everyone.
• One set of prims: fewer prims, more functions, no more "mohawk" in transparency mode.
• New coloring system: 9 scripted base textures and editable tint. You can match *any* skin.
• Tattoos and overlays: we are working with popular tattoo and body oil artists to bring new custom overlays you can add to the cock.
• Peeing and masturbation animations (by popular request)
• Adjustable and hideable balls: 3 sizes or hidden (another popular request)
• New cum particles
• New HUD design

The important thing is I am making this edition as customizable as I can. I will be adding a piercings system, custom skins, interactivity, and other add-ons. I am working with other product designers to create new add-ons, and even make it compatible with other systems, like the pregnancy HUD.
